I want to point out that there is also a concern over "Greenies", and it's neither been proven or disproven, but I certainly don't take the chance with my pooches!

I also do not feed rawhide treats since they are difficult to digest as well. I feed pig skin twists, pig ears, etc. instead. With my dachshunds and their delicate digestive tracts, I don't want to take any risks! =) Stay safe!
