Doberman newsletter
Well I can’t contain my excitement, Fiji and Jump are here from Denmark, and they are even better that we anticipated. We have some new friends around the world who helped us get some truly amazing dogs. If at all possible, you will have to make a visit to our Search and Rescue training or our Schutzhund club, these girls are truly affectionate, bright, perfectly structured, and exceptionally obedient. We are proud to be adding them to our kennel. We are also starting to have heavy hearts as Farika’s litter will be leaving us in less than one week, and Coco’s just one week after that. It is always hard to let go. The Paola litters will whelp the end of May. There is still one male pup available from Coco if anyone is interested, let me know, and we will see if he could work in your home.
This weeks safety tip, is Dog food recalls again. Royal Canin has recalled some of their feeds, but not the diet we recommend, so if you are feeding what we told you to feed you are safe. The faulty ingredient was a Chinese rice meal, but none of our dogs are on rice meal diets. I still believe Royal Canin to be the best dry feed for the money.
Also it is starting to warm up and that brings outdoor activity usually, so always take water along, teach your dogs to drink from hoses, water bottles, and even faucets and drinking fountains, because you never know what you will have available when the dogs are thirsty. Keep them hydrated, and make sure they have shelter if they want to get out of the sun. By all means, enjoy the seasons, and take your Dobes with you wherever you go!
Finally, I still don’t get much input on what you guys would like in the newsletter, so if there are topics you want covered, speak up!
